Garden Design
What is garden design? A garden is a plot of land used for growing plants in both domestic and public places while a design for a garden involves the planning of all the elements required within the boundaries of the land.
What elements are used in the design can be as many or few as the owner wishes. To some, a garden must have a lawn and plants or it should not be called a garden, while others prefer to place the emphasis on the hardlandscaping with plants taking a minor role.
Each has its own virtues and that is the great thing about designing a garden - no two are the same. Each site will have its own constraints but the possibilities are almost endless and it is only the limits of budget and imagination that restrain the designer.
